The sweetest employee made me the best turkey, bacon, lettuce, cheese wrap I’ve had in months. It was way bigger than any fast food restaurant and it was only $8.99. It was a perfect lunch and the gentleman was so sweet and had such great service. Even for a small place, you can tell that he cares about his customers.
I bought a dozen donuts and a chicken wrap. Since I was planning to share with my kids, I asked if I could take one of the small paper bags or the disposable plastic gloves (like the kind used in the kitchen) that were set out in front of the donut display. But the staff told me it’s against company policy. If that’s the case, why are they even out there? I really don’t get it. Aren’t they meant for customers buying donuts one by one? So does that mean I’d have to ask for all 12 donuts to be bagged separately just to get a glove? What bothered me more than the policy was the rude attitude from the staff. I even said I’d be happy to pay for a glove, but I still felt like I was being completely dismissed. I just didn’t want to get cream all over my hands. I never thought asking for a simple glove would be such a frustrating experience. It honestly made me want to throw the donuts away. And while they were wrapping the chicken wrap, I saw someone pick up a napkin that had fallen near the trash can and place it back on the table. That was really unsanitary. Even if it hadn’t been used, once something falls by the trash, it should be thrown away—not reused. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve never left a review before, but I felt like I had to this time.
